Japan Soca Weekend 2023

Japan Soca Weekend, a 4 day music festival, is Asia's largest Soca music (Caribbean music) festival held every September in the Kanto region of Japan (Tokyo, Chiba). Many Soca music fans and Caribbean people from all around the world come to Japan to enjoy this music festival. If you would like to experience Soca music and Caribbean culture we invite you to come and enjoy.

FAQ: Where to stay in Tokyo?
Answer: If you're not on the tour group, we advise to stay in Shibuya, Tokyo as it's most central to all the events. If you're with the tour group your hotel will be assigned after registration.

This ticket is for the 4 main events: Soca Magic, Rum N Bass, J'ouvert in Japan and Island Nations

Carnival ticket is sold separately and will commence in April

Official costumes for Japan Caribbean Carnival will go on sale in April. If you are a masquerader you DO NOT NEED a carnival ticket. persons wearing unauthorized costumes will be denied entry, including as a spectator.

After parties not included in this ticket

J'ouvert Package and Wristband Distribution is scheduled from Thur 14 September 2023 to Fri 15 September at 4pm.

We encourage all patrons to collect during this time. Failure to collect packages during this time will result in a forfeiture of your purchase without refund. (By purchasing you accept that you will be in Tokyo for package distribution or someone will accept on your behalf.)
